This past Tuesday, Vickie Howell, Lisa Loeb and the Knitty Gritty crew took over A Mano to shoot part of an upcoming Knitty Gritty special. Both Vickie and Lisa were awesome and their all male crew were so much fun to hang out with. A good time was definitely had by all. Annette & I feel so honored to have had our little shop featured so prominently on the show. A BIG thanks to Lorelei (the producer from KG who planned the shoot) for including us. I know what your next question is... when will the episode air? Well, we have absolutely no idea (it took almost a year for my Rasta Hat episode to air), but as soon as they tell us, we'll be sure to tell you. Click on the photo if you want to see a few more shots taken during the day.
By the way... here's a bit of trivia for you... did you know that Vickie was the founder of the original LA Stitch & Bitch Group? She passed the online group on to me when she moved to Austin and the rest is history. Without the SnB-LA neither of us would be doing what we're doing today. How awesome is it to know that two sticks and some string can have the power to totally transform your life?
Shannita! Congratulations! That is the BEST BEST photo of you I have EVER seen! You look positively glowing and gorgeous!
